Orthopedic Center

MCMC, OHSU Team for Orthopedic Excellence

Orthopedic concerns involving your bones, muscles and joints come in many forms, from sports injuries and accidents to arthritis and conditions that are just part of the normal aging process.

Through a unique partnership between Mid-Columbia Medical Center and Oregon Health & Science University, your options for comprehensive orthopedic care are dramatically expanded.

MCMC|OHSU Orthopedic Services offers you access to a full-time hometown team of experienced orthopedics specialists in addition to local access to sub-specialists who are members of both the OHSU facility and the MCMC Medical Staff.

It’s the best of two worlds – local orthopedic expertise and a local connection to the vast resources and expertise of the state’s only health and research university.

Ask your doctor for a referral, or call MCMC | OHSU Orthopedics directly at (541) 506-6500

Comprehensive Orthopedic Care

Drs. Bruce and John Schwartz are no strangers to Gorge-area orthopedics patients. Bruce established the first orthopedics practice in the Gorge in the early 70s, then several years later lured his brother John to The Dalles to join his practice.

The two practiced together for 12 years, before Bruce relocated to Ketchikan in 1995. John followed in 2008, but both returned to The Dalles in January 2010 to establish MCMC | OHSU Orthopedics.  There they are joined by podiatrist Joshua Boone, DPM, a specialist in the care of feet and ankles.

See the Care Team link for complete information about these skilled and experienced orthopedics specialists.
