On-site Daycare: Work without worry
As any parent might tell you, quality, affordability and proximity top the list in the search for childcare. We offer all three to our employees.
Our initial childcare program began in 1982 and has since grown to become the Great 'n Small Child Development Center, an on-campus, licensed facility staffed with teachers who are dedicated to the care, nurturing and education of our employees' children.
In 2002, our Great 'n Small Child Development Center moved from the more traditional model of childhood education to an emergent curriculum, based on an approach born in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The curriculum, which encourages ideas, curiosity, discoveries and learning, has become one of the most respected and successful preschool education models in the world.
We invite parents to participate in classroom activities, special events, work parties or to come by and visit whenever possible. The connection between home and school and creating a sense of community early on is an important part of the learning process and we encourage this bond whenever possible.
