Reiki is a method of relaxation and stress reduction that promotes healing.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an ancient method of healing and relaxation that was rediscovered in Japan in the late 1800’s.

MCMC Volunteer Reiki Practioners are available each Tuesday from noon to 2pm in the Celilo Meditation Room on the Celilo first floor and individuals can just drop in.

Reiki is also provided for MCMC inpatients, their care partners, and hospital staff members via scheduled appointments each Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30pm in patient rooms or for staff in the Chapel.

If you would like more information on Reiki or if you would like to be added to the staff/provider list to be contacted on Thursday mornings, please contact Joyce at 296-7266 or joycep@mcmc.net.
