MCMC Urology Clinic is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join their exceptional team. The primary responsibility of this position will be providing direct patient care while following established standards and practices under the supervision of a physician or RN.

Summary: The Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality and safe services. The individual in this position will assist in the provision of clinic services that reflect high standards of clinical care and high levels of customer service. The Medical Assistant constantly exhibits competence, integrity and confidentiality with sensitive material.Excellent communication skills, also experience with EHR and procedures desired. Position requires ability to work in team environment, with rotating physicians in 2 locations.

Requirements: 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred; ability to recognize and anticipate the needs of the patient and provider; exceptional customer service skills; adaptable and accepts change well; organized; exceptional ability to multitask; independent decision making skills; works as a team player at all levels; effective communication; ability to assist provider with small surgical procedures and wound care. Medical Assistant Certification is strongly preferred. Chart abstracting experience strongly preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
