Mid-Columbia Health Foundation

Mid-Columbia Health Foundation, established in 1983, has been partnering with individuals and businesses wishing to help make a healthy difference in the lives of our neighbors, our friends and our families. Through the Health Foundation, generous donors have helped place improved technology into the healing hands of our communities' outstanding physicians. These gifts have brought to life programs that ensure low-income women benefit from prenatal care and lifesaving mammograms. They have helped improve training for emergency medical personnel in outlying communities, funded medications and treatment for cancer and diabetes patients, sent students through nursing school and so much more.

It is the mission of the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation to identify and meet the health care needs of the Mid-Columbia Region, guided by the five components of health; biological, social, intellectual, spiritual and environmental. We seek to support health initiatives, programs and services of Mid-Columbia Medical Center and the community, which communicate a vision of health, art, education and technology to promote healing.

The Foundation was established by Mid-Columbia Medical Center to help the hospital improve technology, expand services and reach outside its walls to support important community-based programs. Outstanding donor support over the years has helped our organization become the region's most effective vehicle for connecting donors wishing to support important local health programs.
