Nathaniel Gebhard, MD,ophthalmologist at Casey Eye Institute of OHSU will discuss common conditions and diseases of aging eyes, including prevention and the latest treatment.

Living Well With Heart Failure

Heart failure, or congestive heart failure, is a condition where your heart isn’t able to pump blood as well as it should. Some conditions put you at higher risk of developing heart failure. While not all conditions that lead to heart failure can be reversed, treatments and lifestyle changes can improve the symptoms. Vertigo: What Is It and What Helps?

Most people have felt dizzy now and then. But what if it doesn’t go away and interferes with your daily life? Vertigo or dizziness can begin suddenly and can be very debilitating and distressing to the person experiencing the symptoms. Jason Vaughn, PT, DPT, of Outpatient Physical Therapy at Water’s Edge will explain the difference between vertigo and dizziness, as well as the various conditions that cause the symptoms along with effective treatment options.
