Diabetes

Mid-Columbia Medical Center offers Diabetes Health and Education Services to help people understand what a diagnosis of diabetes means and how to live a healthy life with diabetes.

In addition to one-on-one care and counseling, training on the proper use of self-management tools, including blood sugar monitoring and insulin administration devices is offered. Our educational program has received recognition from the American Diabetes Association for meeting the national standards for diabetes self-management education.

We work hard to stay informed about advances in diabetes research and treatments, by participating in clinical trials and maintaining relationships with the :

  • American Association of Diabetes Educators
  • American Diabetes Association
  • American Dietetic Association
  • Oregon Diabetes Educators
