Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is a ten-week exercise and educational program designed to help patients with chronic lung disease improve their quality of life. Participants enjoy the benefits of both an individualized exercise regimen and group educational sessions. Our comprehensive team approach – under the direction of a physician- includes respiratory therapists, a pharmacist, physical therapist, nutritionist and a social worker, working together to provide exceptional care.
Benefits of Pulmonary Rehabilitation By the end of our program, our patients have increased physical endurance and strength, which enables them to perform their activities of daily living with less discomfort and shortness of breath. Our patients report they
- are able to perform their daily activities with less fatigue and less breathlessness.
- have a much better understanding of their lung disease and their medications.
- have learned valuable coping skills to ease their stress.
