Our Celilo Cancer Center is the only cancer center in the Gorge accredited
by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
In addition to the role we play as a health care provider, MCMC also serves
as an economic engine for the area with approximately 950 employees.
MCMC is one of only three CARF-accredited adult medical inpatient rehabilitation
facilitiesin Oregon and the only one in the Gorge.
To help keep student athletes healthy and safe, we our sports medicine
and orthopedic staff provide free athletic training services to eight
local middle and high schools, providing injury prevention, triage, rehabilitation
and concussion care, and more.
MCMC’s Immediate Care Center at Water’s Edge provides non-emergency
care on a walk-in basis when you have a medical need that is not life-threatening
but cannot wait for a doctor’s visit.
The Breast Center at MCMC is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’
National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and is the only breast
center in the Gorge accredited by the Commission on Cancer.
We offer a vast array of occupational health services to local businesses,
all designed to help employers manage workplace injuries and establish
and maintain a healthy work environment that reduces the chances of employee
injury, illness and disability.
The PREVENT program at MCMC helps people make the dietary and lifestyle
changes necessary to live a healthier life.
Each year the MCMC emergency department sees more than 9,500 patient visits,
providing 24/7 care people need right away for life-threatening conditions,
including heart attack, stroke and severe trauma.
We believe in promoting trust through open, transparent and respectful

Mid-Columbia Medical Center was the first hospital in the nation to integrate
the Planetree philosophy of person-centered care throughout the entire

MCMC Orthopedic Institute is the only Joint Commission-certified facility

diabetes-care and education specialists, our diabetes services program
offers the best care and education on topics from understanding diabetes,
