Take Control of Your Health with PREVENT
PREVENT is a wellness program for individuals committed to making lasting changes.
Through this one-year program facilitated by a trained lifestyle coach,
you will learn how to make the lifestyle changes necessary to lose weight,
prevent disease and increase your overall health.
PREVENT is a community benefit program of Mid-Columbia Medical Center. There is
no cost to participate.
- The class uses curriculum from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
- It is designed to promote modest weight loss of (5-7%) and increase physical activity.
- This is 12-month program with weekly classes for the first six months,
then bimonthly and monthly.
Classes are virtual and will start Thursday, November 5, from 7-8 p.m.
