Daniel Cannon, MD was born and raised in Utah, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Brigham Young University. During college he spent time overseas doing missionary work and also worked in a research laboratory.
After his undergraduate studies he earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he also completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. During medical school he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
After completing all his medical training in Milwaukee he was interested in coming back out to the west. He had fond memories of the Pacific Northwest from a childhood vacation and was thrilled to join Columbia Gorge ENT and Allergy in the summer of 2014. He enjoys the variety of ENT practice, seeing a wide array of conditions with both medical and surgical treatments, and taking care of patients of all ages. He and his wife Kim live in The Dalles with their 4 children. They enjoy exploring the Gorge, camping, hiking, sports, and music.
