About
Lynne Allen is an adult nurse practitioner (NP) at Mid-Columbia Medical
Center’s Celilo Cancer Center.
An oncology nurse practitioner (NP), Lynne provides comprehensive care
to patients who have a diagnosis of cancer, as well as to their families.
In collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, she helps
them through all the stages of their disease process.
Lynne was named March of Dimes, Oregon and SE Washington Advance Practice
Nurse of the Year in 2016. She holds certifications as an Adult Nurse
Practitioner - Board Certified (ANP-BC), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse
Practitioner (AOCNP), and Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN).
Throughout her more than 25-year career in healthcare, Lynne has served
in a variety of settings, including Cogent Healthcare in Nashville, Tennessee,
Columbia Basin Hematology & Oncology in Kennewick, Washington, and
Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Washington. She has also presented
at regional and national conferences on topics that include cancer palliative
care and pain management.
Lynne relocated to The Gorge for the mountain, trees, and wonderful reputation
of Celilo Cancer Center. In her free time, she enjoys walking, hiking,
camping and reading.
She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American
Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Physicians, Hospice
& Palliative Nurses Association, and Oncology Nursing Society. She
was a charter member and past president of the Columbia River Nurse Practitioner
Association and a charter and board member of What’s New in Medicine.
She has been an active participant for many years in ACS’s Relay for Life.
