Dr. Kathryn Jenewein is a podiatrist at Mid-Columbia Medical Center.
Dr. Jenewein completed her B.S. in Biology
summa cum laude at St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. During her undergraduate
training, she also competed in NCAA women’s cross-country and track
& field, earning Academic All-Conference Athlete all four years.
She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University
College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, where she graduated as class
valedictorian and was invited into the Pi Delta Honor Society.
Dr. Jenewein completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency in
Portland through the Legacy Health and Kaiser Permanente Health Systems.
Her training included forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle reconstruction; deformity
correction; trauma; sports medicine and arthroscopy; as well as diabetic
Her approach to patient care is an individualized treatment plan based
on specific goals. She believes in early diagnosis and intervention, with
aggressive rehabilitation for active individuals. She aims to maximize
mobility for all patients.
She enjoys the active Gorge lifestyle and spends most of her freetime weight
training and running. On the trail or road racing, she has special interest
and experience in minimalist/natural running. She also enjoys stand-up
paddleboard, cycling, mountain biking, and hiking.
