Dr. Kathleen J. Wilder is an OB/GYN at Mid-Columbia Medical Center’s Columbia River Women’s Center.

Dr. Wilder received her medical degree and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology from OHSU and went on to work with the Indian Health Service on the Navajo Reservation 2007-2011. Family called her back to Portland, Oregon where she joined the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at OHSU. She was Co-Medical Director for Planned Parenthood of the Columbia-Willamette and Co-Director of the Center for Women’s Health Fibroid Program at OHSU. Over the past few years, Dr. Wilder has worked with Doctors Without Borders in South Sudan, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria.

As an OB/GYN, Dr. Wilder supports women through some of the most important transitions in their lives: puberty, pregnancy and menopause. She is honored to care for, educate, and support her patients through all of these important life stages.

Dr. Wilder enjoys staying up-to-date on the latest research and surgical techniques to provide patients with the highest quality medical care. Her specialties include minimally invasive surgery, family planning, native health, underserved and rural women’s health, and quality assessment/improvement. She serves as Chair for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee for American Indian/Alaska Native Programs.

In her free time Dr. Wilder enjoys spending time with friends and family, and staying active by gardening, hiking, going to the gym, and other outdoor activities. She has traveled in 33 countries, worked in 7 countries, and speaks Spanish.
