Quit Smoking
Support and resources to help you stop smoking for good
Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in the United
States. Smoking harms nearly every organ of the body, causes many diseases,
and impacts your general health.
Quitting smoking lowers your risk for smoking-related diseases and can
add years to your life.
If you quit smoking now, in two weeks your risk of heart attack drops,
your circulation improves and your lung function increases. Within 2 to
5 years after quitting, your risk for stroke may reduce to about that
of a nonsmoker’s.
Quitting is tough, but having support boosts your chances of success. In our group program you will find support, tips and tools to help you
or someone you love quit smoking. You will also enjoy our guest speakers
with expert advice to help you quit.
