Mid-Columbia Medical Center announced on October 4, 2021, the appointment
of Amanda Evans as executive director for the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation.
Evans is a lifelong resident of the Columbia River Gorge and has worked
at the Foundation since 2005.
“Amanda brings to this role 16 years of hands-on experience managing
both fundraising and operational functions at the Foundation,” said
MCMC CEO Dennis Knox. “Her unique combination of skills balances
donor relations, leadership and strategic development, as well as a true
passion for helping to build a healthy community.”
During her time at the Foundation, Evans has had responsibility for development
and implementation of all Foundation programs including donor recognition,
communications, marketing, scholarships, financial reporting, donor relationships
and staff management. She was named Interim Executive Director in December
2020. Evans holds an associate degree from Mt. Hood Community College.
