Mid-Columbia Medical Center is pleased to welcome the following new providers
who recently joined the MCMC family:
Christopher Chapman, M.D., Emergency Department. Dr. Chapman comes to MCMC from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in
New Hampshire where he completed his residency in emergency medicine and
served as chief resident. He earned his medical degree at Oregon Health
& Science University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree
in biochemistry at Gonzaga University in Spokane. When he is not working,
Dr. Chapman is an avid backcountry skier, biker, rock climber back packer
and whitewater enthusiast, as well as a lifelong musician.

Claire Unruh, D.O., Hospitalist. Dr. Unruh comes to MCMC from Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis where
she completed her residency in Family Medicine. She earned her doctor
of osteopathic medicine degree at Campbell University School of Osteopathic
Medicine in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Dr. Unruh attended undergraduate
school at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, where she double-majored
in biology, and bible and religion, and double-minored in chemistry and
Spanish. She is proficient in conversational and medical Spanish.

Courtney Craigan, MSN, FNP, Internal Medicine. Courtney is a family nurse practitioner who brings to MCMC more than
two decades of patient care experience, most recently at Oregon Health
& Science University in preventive cardiology. She has worked as an
urgent care and emergency room nurse, as well as a nursing supervisor,
and completed a clinical rotation in internal medicine at Multnomah County.
She earned her MSN and FNP at Gonzaga University and a bachelor’s
in nursing at University of Wyoming. In her leisure time she enjoys mountain
biking, skiing, fly fishing and kiteboarding.

Satish Mohan, MSN, FNP-C, RN, Sleep Medicine. Satish earned his family nurse practitioner degree at Georgetown University
in Washington, D.C., and has completed clinical rotations at clinics across
Oregon, including Canyon Family Health in Stayton, Bridgeport Family Medicine
in Tigard, and Kids First Pediatric Clinic in West Linn. Prior work experience
includes nursing positions at The Pearl at Kruse Way, a skilled nursing
facility in Lake Oswego, and Stram Center for Integrative Medicine in
Delmar, New York. In addition to his FNP certification, Satish holds a
Bachelor of Science in nursing from University of Rochester where he sat
on the school’s council for diversity and inclusion.

Jennifer Crawford, CHT, OTR/L, Occupational Therapy. Jennifer is a certified hand therapist and licensed occupational therapist.
She brings to MCMC more than 20 years of experience working side-by-side
with hand surgeons, physician assistants and other hand therapists at
Oregon Health & Science University in the hospital’s outpatient
level 1 trauma setting.She earned a Bachelor of Science in occupational
therapy at Eastern Michigan University.

Carol Stromer, OTR/L, Occupational Therapy. Carol is an occupational therapist who brings to MCMC more than three
decades of experience in occupational rehabilitation and pain management.
She previously worked at Consonus Healthcare and Independence Rehab where
she provided care to patients in skilled nursing facilities. Carol graduated
with distinction from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado,
with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and minors in anatomical
sciences and human development.

Monique M. Adams, MSW, CADC III, Behavioral Health. Monique is a social worker and certified alcohol and drug counselor who
brings to MCMC more than two decades of experience in behavioral health.
Prior to joining MCMC, she worked at Mid-Columbia Center for Living, most
recently as a clinical services manager. Monique earned her Master of
Social Work at Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree
in business/sociology at Oregon State University.
