Group Exercise Classes at Water's Edge

Our group exercise classes typically range from 6 to 20 participants per class. Classes are taught by certified instructors who can help you get the best from each class. We welcome participants of all fitness levels and instructors are trained to show you modifications to exercises to best fit your individual needs. We have also developed the following “Intensity level” guide to help you decide which of our many classes will help you best reach your fitness goals.

Hours of Medical-Exercise: 8 am - 4 pm

Intensity Level Guide

* Introductory Classes

These introductory classes are designed for those new to group fitness. Classes are often shorter in duration, and lower in intensity, with more individualized instruction. Each class includes a brief educational component. In addition to beginners, these classes are ideal for those recovering from injury or with physical limitations.

** Mid-Level Classes

These mid-level classes are great for those who have developed a basic fitness foundation and feel comfortable doing most exercises without major modification. These classes are perfect to add to your regular fitness routine to help you reach your personal fitness goals in a fun energizing environment.

*** High-Intensity Classes

Classes in this level are developed with the athlete in mind. High-intensity classes focus on maximizing strength and stamina. Great for those looking to push their fitness and challenge their athletic abilities.

Please notify us 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend a class so that we can offer your spot to the next person on the waiting list.

When to Arrive

Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to your class start time. Have your area set up (yoga mat, weights, etc.) to begin class on time. If you are new to a class this will also give the instructor time to help you get acquainted with how to best get ready. If you are attending one of our aquatic classes please arrive with enough time to shower before entering the pool.

What to Bring

You are encouraged to bring a water bottle to all of our group exercise classes. Filtered water is available from the dispenser in our fitness area.

There are a limited number of yoga mats available for general use. You are encouraged to bring your mat to any yoga classes. Aqua shoes are permitted in the pool as long as they are not worn outside of the pool area.

Class Descriptions

Aqua Zumba

Perfect for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine. Aqua Zumba blends the Zumba philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you shouldn’t miss! There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.
